Designs & Interfaces / CD Covers

Our Jazz and Concert Bands at my school are making a CD, and I'm in charge of makng the cover. This is my first design...

I was kinda hoping for opinions on it. I want it to be good.

The title is still unknown, but I'm using ONE BAND ONE SOUND as the holding title for now...

Hmm. They only thing I can think of to critique it..and I am still not sure if it would improve it or not... just something you could try is: making it a little less symmetrical. For example move the top purple and black spirals/ circles to our left. But it looks great. Take it or leave it. It would also create a little less blank background space and draw the focal point more to the center. I hope this is helpful.

Yes I mean on the left. But I was wondering. It seems rather wide for a CD cover. Is this the front and back together?

Ok well in that case maybe don't off set it too much but it might be cool to see a little of the circles flow onto the back of the cover.

oops... I took a second look and it already does flow to the back. My perspective has been corrected. I owned myself. I donno you could still try my original idea and scoot them both away from each other a tiny bit. But there is nothing wrong with symmetrical so you can tell me to piss off with my idea if you want to and I would not mind a bit cause it looks great as it is
